Bear's Trash Valet
San Antonio, TX · Ribbon Creek · Creek Run · Spiral Creek

Never think about trash day again.

  • Every cart on the street is at the curb except yours, and the truck already came.
  • Your bin is full, and another week of trash is coming.
  • The city gives no second chance.

Bear's Trash Valet rolls your cart out the night before and back after pickup, every week. Late shift, out of town, or just got home late: no missed pickups and no HOA notices. Whatever the situation calls for, I've got you covered. $25 a month.

Why Bear's

Trash day is one more chore. We take it off your list.

Heavy carts in the heat, rain or dark. Remembering which night it is. An HOA notice because a bin sat out too long. Your neighbor handles all of it, every week.

More than 1 in 4 adults 65 and older report falling each year — CDC, STEADI Older Adult Fall Prevention.

No more dragging heavy bins

You don't have to step outside on trash day at all. We do the walking, the lifting and the wrestling with the lid, so nobody risks a fall on a wet curb or a sloped driveway.

Your neighbor, not a crew

Bear's is run by a neighbor, not a company from across town or a rotating gig-app crew. Same person, same schedule, week after week, so you always know who's coming up your driveway.

No more forgetting trash night

Nothing to remember, no one needs to be home, and no more HOA notices. Your only job is getting the trash into the bin. We roll it out the night before and bring it back after the truck comes.

With your permission

We're not a security service. We're just here every week.

Because we're at your curb on the same days, every week, we naturally start to notice what's normal for your home — and what isn't. Mail piling up. Packages stacking on the porch. A bin that never made it back in.

On their own, small things. But they're also the kind of small things a family member a few states away can't see for themselves.

If we ever notice something like that, and you've told us it's okay, we'll give you a call — or call whoever you've told us to. That's the whole service. It's the kind of thing a good neighbor does, not a monitoring company.

Always your call

You decide everything about this.

  • Entirely opt-in — off by default until you ask for it at sign-up.
  • You tell us who to call, and what counts as unusual for your home.
  • We never enter your home, check cameras, or keep records — just what's visible from the curb.
  • Turn it off anytime. Full permission, full authority, always in your hands.
Not a medical or emergency service. This is a courtesy that comes from routine weekly visits — not a wellness check, medical alert, or emergency response system. For a real emergency, always call 911 first.

FAQ

Common questions

Will anyone come inside my house?
No. We only ever handle bins at the curb and driveway. We never enter your home, for any reason.
Do I have to use the weekly check-in courtesy?
Not at all. It's entirely optional and off by default — you opt in at sign-up only if you want it, and you can turn it off anytime after.
What counts as "something seems off"?
Simple, visible things from the curb — mail piling up, packages stacking on the porch, a bin left out days after pickup. Nothing invasive, nothing hidden.
Who do you call if something looks unusual?
Whoever you tell us to at sign-up — a family member, a neighbor, you decide. You can change that contact anytime.
Is this a medical or emergency service?
No. It's a courtesy that comes naturally from routine weekly visits, not a monitoring, medical alert, or emergency response service. For a real emergency, always call 911 first.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes. If a neighbor signs up and names you on the sign-up form, you each get $10 off your monthly service once they've paid their first full month. Refer as many neighbors as you like; each one earns another $10 credit. Credits come off the monthly service charge (not add-ons) and have no cash value.
How do water restrictions affect bin washing?
During SAWS drought stages (San Antonio is currently in Stage 3), carts can only be washed when they pose a health or sanitation risk, such as odor, buildup or pests. Washing a cart just for looks isn't allowed. Before your first wash, we file a SAWS variance for your address, which usually takes 1–3 days to approve. With your permission, rinse water goes onto your lawn or a nearby grassy area. It never goes into the street, gutter or storm drain. If there's no grass, we collect the rinse water and dispose of it properly. If SAWS rules change, washes may be paused or rescheduled, and we'll let you know.
What if I need to cancel?
Just let us know. Service continues through days already paid for, with a two full service-week minimum from sign-up before cancellation takes effect.
